Susan is originally from Long Island, NY. She began dancing in her late teens and early 20's. She frequented many dance clubs in New York City where Latin Dancing and the Hustle were booming. At this time, the late 70's and early 8-'s ballroom dancing wasn't as popular as it is now but she had an interest in social dancing and she pursued her interest.
Yeas later Susan became even more serious about dancing and took it to a higher level and began taking Ballroom lessons. She took lessons with Arthur Murray, NY Crystal Ballroom and Ovations Dance Academy. Learning to dance came easy, because it was something she was passionate about.
After many lessons and years of social ballroom dancing she moved to SW Florida and found herself wanting to share the excitement of learning to dance. Although dancing competitively wasn't her forte she thought perhaps her knowledge of social dancing for enjoyment and looking confident on the dance floor would be something to share with others. Susan decided she would like to teach and hopefully share her passion. Susan entered into a training process for instructors and has acquired the knowledge to teach others.
Susan believes that learning to dance should be fun and a release from all the stress in our daily lives. Susan has been a Dance Host for numerous Dance Parties and continues to serve at DanceLife. She is always seen as a pleasure to dance with. Susan also performed a solo Tango in the October Fun Mini-Comp and wowed attendees.
Susan is available to teach Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Cha Cha, Rumba, and East Coast Swing.
